I started Electric Tree House as a way to learn HTML coding and to catalog some of the eco- related stories I findwhile surfing the internet. My trials and errors have culminated in the website you see today. I always enjoy hearing thoughts and suggestions. I’ve enjoyed becoming a part of the Green Blogging community and I hope you enjoy my website. If you’d like to get in touch with me simply leave a comment on this page.

Note: I am currently working on my Civil Engineering PhD, so please understand if I don’t have time to respond to every message.

  1. Excellent site man. My friend Caroline and I run our own site that we started in 2009 for reasons pretty similar to those you say you started yours, to learn more about making sites and create a common space to highlight creative individuals we meet. (Though we have never really figured out how to sell ads, way to go making them unobtrusive yet effective!) We started using your asteroids game lately and found out about electrictreehouse through the credits there. If you’d ever be interested in collaborating in any way, we’d be 100% stoked! In the mean time, keep up the excellent work! Sam

  2. Like the plugin will you ever be adding a Flickr API function so that users can see more than 20 images? A lot of flickr wp plugins allow you to get your own API code from flickr so that you can pull more than just 20 images. I would like to be able to access my entire stream not just the most recent.

  3. Hi Eric,

Great website. It is sad that the big surge in natural gas production will no doubt have an adverse impact on greener forms of energy by way of cheaper prices. Fracking is environmentally unsound, and I was horrified (but not surprised) to read in your article that gas companies are exempt from environmental review. Please keep up the good work. Your photos are awesome.
